Curriculum Focus:
Our Montessori elementary school program provides an integrated elementary curriculum that combines language, mathematics, science, social studies, geography, Spanish, computer skills, music, art, physical education, and library research. This comprehensive approach allows students to explore multiple subjects while making connections between ideas. By encouraging curiosity and independent thinking, the program helps each child develop strong academic skills and a deeper understanding.

Daily Routine:
Children follow individualized work plans that enable them to manage their time effectively and make thoughtful choices about their learning paths. This structure supports independence and responsibility while ensuring that students remain engaged throughout the school day. The routine also includes group lessons, collaborative activities, and opportunities for discussion and reflection.

Classroom Experience:

Our classroom environment is designed to support this important stage of development. In the mixed-age Montessori classroom, students continue working with concrete materials while gradually developing abstract thinking skills. Through hands-on learning and guided exploration, children strengthen problem-solving abilities, collaboration skills, and academic confidence.

Independent

Our Heritage Montessori elementary school program inspires children to become independent learners who understand and appreciate the world around them. During this stage of development, children transition from concrete learning experiences to more abstract thinking in subjects such as language and mathematics. This progression supports deeper understanding while strengthening reasoning and analytical skills. By encouraging curiosity and exploration, our Montessori elementary school program helps students develop the confidence and knowledge they need to succeed in later school experiences.

Our Montessori elementary curriculum introduces students to a wide range of subjects that help them understand the world while building strong academic foundations. Through integrated learning, children make connections across subjects while developing independence and confidence.

  • Language and Literacy – Students strengthen reading, writing, spelling, and communication skills through storytelling, research projects, and written reports. Language development helps children express ideas clearly while building the foundation for strong academic success.

  • Mathematics – Our Montessori mathematics curriculum helps students move from hands-on materials to more abstract thinking. Children explore numbers, operations, patterns, and problem-solving while building confidence in their mathematical abilities.

  • Science and Discovery – Science lessons encourage students to investigate the natural world through observation, experiments, and research. Topics may include earth science, biology, and environmental studies, all of which spark curiosity and critical thinking.

  • Geography and Cultural Studies – Students learn about continents, countries, cultures, and communities worldwide. Geography lessons help children understand global connections while developing respect for different cultures.

  • Spanish Language – Students are introduced to Spanish through vocabulary, conversation, and cultural exploration. Learning another language helps strengthen communication skills and cognitive development.

  • Technology and Computer Skills – Students develop digital literacy by using computers for research, writing projects, and presentations. These experiences prepare children for modern academic environments.

  • Music and Creative Arts – Music, art, and creative expression allow children to explore imagination while building confidence. These activities support emotional development and encourage creativity.

  • Physical EducationPhysical movement and outdoor activities help students build coordination, teamwork, and healthy habits that support lifelong wellness.

  • Library and Research Skills – Students learn how to conduct research, organize information, and present their ideas through reports and presentations. These skills help children become independent learners.

The teachers are caring, informed and knowledgeable at each different age level. My daughter has blossomed here. Her language, motor skills and emotional balance is astonishing for a 4 year old. She knows her numbers, sounds can cut with scissors, and can write her name and numbers unprompted. There are always themes, parties and learning events to keep her engaged. She loves to go to school which is an amazing start to her educational journey.
